There will be 12 scoring tournaments, each participant will score in each of the rounds in which he/she participates, and his/her ranking will be the sum of, at the most, the 6 best scores obtained.
To qualify for the final prize and lunch, it is essential to have participated in a minimum of 8 tournaments.
The 6 best results from the total of tournaments played will be scored.
The following points will be awarded according to the classification in each category, handicap, and scratch.
All participants will have 2 points for participating.
Doña Julia Golf will draw up a Scratch Ranking and a Handicap Ranking according to the results obtained in a series of tournaments. Only players with a valid federation licence may be included in the rankings, as well as receive the prizes and benefits derived from them.
Participants
These tournaments are reserved for amateur players with a valid federation licence.
Categories
Unique category.
Format
The tournaments will be played under the individual 18-hole stroke play (Medal Play) or Stableford, as determined by the Committee.
Playing Rules
Tournaments will be played in accordance with the Golf Rules, the competition terms and conditions and Doña Julia’s Local Rules.
Place the ball on flush slanted grass is permitted in all events.
Distance measuring devices are permitted.
If one player, regardless of the reason, arrives later to the tee after the shot has been taken, the penalty to be applied is 2 strokes. In the event of arriving later than 10 minutes, the player will be disqualified.
The Competition Committee is against slow play for the good development of the competitions and for this reason, NO score cards will be accepted under any circumstances if they have been returned one hour after the first one received by the Caddy Master.
Entries
Entries must be received no later than 1 day before the start of the event.
Entry fees
The registration fee will be set each year by the Doña Julia Golf Management, applying one rate for members and a different one for visitors.
Maximum and minimum number of players.
The maximum number of participants per tournament will be up to 88 players, in accordance with the registration order. The minimum number of participants for each event will be 20 players.
Starting times and order
Shot gun at 9:00 am. The starting order will be determined by handicap, starting first the players with the lowest handicap.
Tee markers
Gentlemen. –
The tee merkers shall be placed at the same level of the fixed markings that determine the starting point of each hole’s measurement. The short tee markers (yellow tee markers) are taken. The Committee may modify the tee markers if it deems it convenient.
Ladies. –
The tee markers shall be placed at the same level of the fixed markings that determine the starting point of each hole’s measurement. The short tee markers (red tee markers) are taken. The Committee may modify the tee markers if it deems it convenient.
Ranking of each competition
The sum of the strokes or points obtained in stableford format, by the player in each round, will determine the event’s ranking.
Ties
In case of a tie between two or more players for any position in the Medal Play classification, the tie will be settled in favour of the player whose handicap is higher.
If the tie persists, the formula of the 9, 12, 15, 16 and 17 best last holes played shall be used. If the tie continues, it will be resolved by drawing lots.
In the event of a tie between two or more players for any position in the Stableford format, the tie shall be resolved in favour of the player with the lowest handicap. If the tie persists, the formula of the 9, 12, 15, 16 and 17 best last holes played shall be used. If the tie continues, it will be resolved by drawing lots.
Ranking Scores

Cancellation or suspension
If any of the races cannot be held, the Competition Committee will determine the new date.

Non-Members: 450€
- This amount covers the 12 competitions, in a single payment before the first tournament is held.
- If, for reasons of force majeure, any competition is cancelled, the proportional part will not be reimbursed.
- If the player is unable to attend one or more tournaments, he/she will not be reimbursed either.
Order of merit prizes
Prizes will be awarded at the last tournament of the year, THE GRAND FINAL. Scratch and handicap prizes are cumulative.

From 4th to 10th place will have a guaranteed prize. Great raffle of gifts, green fees and many more surprises.
